In 2021, Elenia published her first picturebook as both author and illustrator, We Love Pizza (Wir lieben Pizza!), followed by Yours Befana in 2022, a book written by Barbara Cuoghi, which was published in multiple languages and celebrated for its illustrations.
Beyond her illustration work, Beretta is an active member of the creative community in Berlin. She co-founded Picturebooks Berlin, a community for international illustrators and authors, and runs Drawing Nights Berlin, a monthly drawing event aimed at fostering collaboration between professionals and amateurs. She also teaches Experimental Illustration at the Comics School in Rome.
